What are School Nursing Services?

School Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and lifelong achievement of students. School nurses serve as the vital link between health and education — managing chronic health conditions, administering medications, responding to health emergencies, conducting health screenings, and supporting students with complex medical needs in the educational setting. STS provides qualified, credentialed school nurses to school districts and charter schools across Southern California. Our school nurses work as members of the school team — collaborating with teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers to ensure every student's health needs are met and compliance requirements are satisfied. School nursing services are available in-person and via telehealth.
