ABOUT THIS SERVICE

What is Vision Therapy?

Vision Therapy addresses visual processing and visual perceptual challenges that affect a child's ability to learn, read, and participate in daily activities. Unlike standard eye exams that test visual acuity, vision therapy focuses on how the brain processes and interprets visual information. Our vision specialists work with children who have visual impairments, visual processing disorders, and related learning challenges. We provide both clinic-based vision therapy and school-based vision itinerant services — supporting students with visual impairments in accessing their educational environment and curriculum. STS vision services are provided by credentialed Vision Specialists and Orientation & Mobility Specialists.

Credentialed Vision Specialists delivering IDEA-compliant services in your school district.
