What are Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services?

Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) have unique educational needs that require specialized support to ensure full access to their educational program. STS provides a comprehensive range of services for DHH students — including specialized DHH instruction, educational interpreting, audiology support, and assistive listening technology. Our DHH specialists and educational interpreters work with students, teachers, and school teams to create accessible, inclusive educational environments where DHH students can fully participate and thrive. We provide both direct services to students and consultation and training for school staff. All STS DHH services are ADA and IDEA compliant, delivered by qualified professionals with expertise in deaf education and communication access.

Students with mild to moderate hearing loss who need support accessing spoken language and classroom instruction.
